Sikhi is a free app for daily Hukamnama, Gurbani reading, the Nanakshahi calendar, and kirtan. This policy covers the Sikhi website and mobile app.
The mobile app does not require an account. Your reading progress, saved lines, and daily reading preferences stay on your device.
Reminders are optional. If you enable them, we store an app installation identifier, a notification token, your platform and app version, and your reminder preference. Notification services help us deliver reminders. We also keep delivery records to check that notifications are working. This information is not used for advertising.
We may collect crash reports, performance information, and technical device details to fix problems. When you load online content or play kirtan, our servers and content providers receive your IP address and technical request information. Service providers help us deliver content and keep the app working. This information is not used for advertising.
You can turn reminders off in the mobile app’s Hor tab or block notifications in your device settings. Invalid notification tokens are disabled immediately. Cleanup is scheduled weekly. During cleanup, we disable enabled installations that have not been seen or confirmed by the notification service for more than 90 days. We delete installation records disabled for more than 30 days and notification delivery records last updated more than 30 days ago. Because cleanup runs weekly, these actions may occur up to a week after each time limit is reached. Contact us to ask about your information or request its removal.
